Perhaps one of our important educational benefits come from on-the-job training of Ph.D. level research assistants. A major part of CREATE's mission is to develop the next generation of leaders in risk and economic analysis for homeland security. The ultimate goal of these programs is to augment the number of people qualified to practice within the government or private companies to improve homeland security. Over the past three years, CREATE has supported 47 Ph.D. students. CREATE also involved 37 Masters and 9 undergraduate students in its research and education activities.
