CREATE Welcomes Summer Research Scholars from U.S. Military Academies

CREATE welcomed two cadets and a faculty member from the U.S. Air Force Academy and three midshipmen from the U.S. Naval Academy as summer research scholars.  “The purpose of this visit is to expose cadets to research and different ways of learning,” Captain Solomon Sonya, a faculty member from U.S. Air Force Academy, explains. “This is an exceptional program because it allows the students to take everything they have learned through college and apply this knowledge to different domains in solving real-world problems.”

During the visit the cadets and midshipmen from the U.S. Air Force and Naval Academies will study alongside Professor Milind Tambe, CREATE’s Research Area Leader for Game Theory.  This is the third year CREATE has hosted summer scholars from the U.S. Military Academies.
