Trade Outlook 2020 Roundtable

The University of Southern California (USC) will host select government and industry executives at the Trade Outlook 2020 Roundtable for a discussion to examine the future of global trade.

The Roundtable will be held at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 8:30am-12:00pm and will be followed by an invite-only forum from 1pm-4pm.

  • Purpose: Convene executives from government and industry to explore emerging trends that will reshape strategic and operational practices across the global trade community.

  • Benefit: Initiate meaningful dialogue between government and industry and advance efforts to establish and strengthen shared awareness of the global trade environment.

  • Result: Research and insights presented during the roundtable will be captured in an academic whitepaper published by USC CREATE and the Center for Global Supply Chain Management.

Representatives from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and industry will convene to explore emerging trends and anticipated game changers that will challenge existing strategic and operational planning across public and private sectors. This event aims to initiate meaningful dialogue between academia, government and industry and advance efforts to establish and strengthen shared awareness of the global trade environment.
