CREATE Joins New DHS Center: Engineering Secure Environments from Targeted Attacks

The Department of Homeland Security has awarded its latest university center of excellence to Northeastern University, leading the newly created Engineering Security Environments from Targeted Attacks (ESE).  CREATE is a partner in ESE.

ESE will integrate novel engineering design concepts, technologies, and capabilities to detect, deter, mitigate, and respond to targeted attacks.  Isaac Maya, CREATE’s Associate Director for Research Transition, and Richard John, CREATE’s Associate Director of Research, will support the center in the areas of technology assessment and transfer and risk assessment.
