CREATE Student Wins Decision Analysis Annual Paper Competition

Chen Wang, who was a CREATE PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, won first place in the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) Decision Analysis Society’s annual student paper competition for her paper ‘Quantifying Adversary Capabilities to Inform Target-hardening Decisions.’

Dr. Wang obtained her doctoral degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in August 2013. Chen Wang is curently Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering in Tsinghua University.

The Decision Analysis Society was founded in 1980. The society is among the largest of INFORMS’ subdivisions, with more than 1000 members.
