Isaac Maya, CREATE’s Associate Director for Transition, has received the DHS Science and Technology (S&T) award for Outstanding Contractor Support. Dr. Maya was cited for contributions to the development of S&T’s transition metric capabilities. He shaped the Transition Program’s processes and tools to support early and post-transition planning and reporting. Dr. Maya’s efforts have led to standardized approaches to create, monitor, and evaluate the impacts of the DHS’s R&D transitions. Dr. Dimitri Kusnevov, DHS Under Secretary for Science and Technology, presented the award to Dr. Maya at a ceremony in December of 2023.
