Randolph Hall Appointed as CREATE Director

Randolph Hall, J.A. Tiberti Chair in Ethics and Decision Making and Professor in the Daniel J. Epstein Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, has been appointed as CREATE Director, effective July 1. As director, Hall will focus on expanding CREATE’s programs on technology transition, protection of large gatherings and venues, and threats and protections posed by Artificial Intelligence. Hall’s research includes the study of transportation, logistics and healthcare delivery, with an emphasis on system modeling and optimization.  Most recently, Hall’s research has focused on innovation, including the books Managing Innovation Inside Universities and University-Industry Collaboration.  In 2027, his new book on Innovation and Security in Global Universities will be published by Springer.
